Jah teaches us to benefit ourselves Isa 48:17, 18

"'I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit yourself, the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river.'—Isa. 48:17, 18.

we CAN withstand the temptation! 1 Corinthians 10:13

1 Corinthians 10:13 says “No temptation has taken YOU except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let YOU be tempted beyond what YOU can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for YOU to be able to endure it.”
